8/27/2007 · Just installed a new dual layer optical drive. Works as expected accept one thing. I can’t erase /reformat a DVD +R DL RW disc? I’ve always been able to do so with a single layer, 4.7 Gb DVD RW disc. I use Nero 7. Nero will erase /reformat a 4.7Gb DVD +R RW but not a dual layer . My guess is.
